Hey everyone! I'll be "out of the office" July 24-27 (Erin and Brian's wedding in Lubbock, significantly cheaper flight by staying an extra day) and July 30-August 3 (Elisa and Landon's wedding in Austin plus a few days with family and friends). Mattie - Class of 2009
My friend Mattie graduated from Texas Tech this May with a degree in Cell and Molecular Biology and she asked me to take a few pictures of her around campus. Despite wearing pants and a jacket, I was still f-r-e-e-z-i-n-g cold and the drizzle did not help, so I can only imagine how cold Mattie must have been in her really cute dresses. She was an excellent sport and didn't complain at all. We had a great time! Boyfriend Matt showed up with his umbrella and even jumped in for a few just-for-fun pictures as well. Mattie is super smart and will be staying put to pursue a Master's degree in Microbiology. Mattie, I love you and let's do it again real soon!
UPDATE: Matt proposed to Mattie on July 4th on an Australian beach! Can't wait for the wedding (and ahem, hopefully more pictures)!

Jean's Bridals
Jean and Matt were married last weekend so here are the bridals we took the previous month in Lubbock, Texas. Check out the amazing engagement ring! I love little detail shots like this one!
Jean looked amazing in her gorgeous Maggie Sottero gown. Here you can see her Southwestern University class ring which is a new tradition that they didn't have when I was a student there.
Hair and makeup by Salon Tolani in Midland, Texas. Definitely worth the drive, don't you think?
It was gloomy and threatened to rain all day but the sun finally came out at the very end of the day!
