Pam and Jason - September 1, 2007

Sorry I haven't blogged in like a zillion years, but I have been busy with school and I have also been out of town several times. My amazing friend Julie arranged this shoot for when I was down in Austin during Labor Day. Many thanks to Pam and Jason for waking up early and dressing up at the last minute! We went to Zilker Botanical Gardens and then walked around downtown for a little bit including a pit stop at Halcyon where they were super nice and let us rearrange the furniture. Pam and Jason, you guys were so much fun and I hope you like your images!

Heather and Paul - August 18, 2007

I attended my college friend Heather's wedding last month in Liberty Hill as a guest which was a little bit weird for me since I haven't been a "guest" at a wedding in quite a while. It was so great to see old friends! I also had the pleasure of meeting Raymond and Debra of EverAfter Images who were kind enough to let me play with them. You can view their images here.

Brooke and Kelly - June 23, 2007

Brooke and Kelly were married at the Spirit Ranch a while back. I didn't know such a location could exist in Lubbock, but the trees and water are quite nice and the ducks and peacocks add a little excitement. Brooke and Kelly chose to see each other before the ceremony which I highly recommend because you can get some really great pictures and some alone time. Speaking from personal experience, it doesn't make the walk down the aisle any less special. Pictures are also less hurried and there's not a big delay between the ceremony and reception. Anyway, Brooke and Kelly had some awesome looking food and cakes, and I just loved their first dance song, a slow version of "Calling You" by Blue October. It was a beautiful day and night!
